The Freedom Fund Banquet was established by the 10th MKB NAACP president, Dr. Romeo Phillips, 47 years ago, and serves as the Metropolitan Kalamazoo Branch’s primary fundraiser. Freedom Fund sustains the vital work we do to advance justice and equality in Kalamazoo County. We are especially grateful for the dedicated Executive Committee volunteers who give so generously of their time, talents, and resources to support this mission.
